In Osaka, traditional row houses (nagaya) have long been home to many common people, supporting the merchants’ town since the Edo period.
Rather than continuing the cycle of mass production and consumption—building, tearing down, and replacing—we hope to move toward a time when we preserve what is old and good, while embracing the new.
